In 2007 Andre Vieira was nominated by partners at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niteroi, Brazil to undertake a commission in the Ruhr region of Germany.
Andre chose to focus his enquiry on the radical industrial transformation of the Ruhr region visualized through the identity of the young generation of workers, most of whom now work in new industries such as telecommunications and marketing.
The work has been exhibited in Finland and Germany.
