Lithuanian-born Arturas Valiauga was commissioned in 2005 by Paradox and the University of Leiden as part of the international project ‘Changing Faces.’
Arturas’ study of Lithuanians living in the Netherlands and the Dutch living in Lithuania resulted in a series of panoramas which question national identity and its personal expression in emigration.
‘Still Identity’ was exhibited at the Contemporary Art Information Centre at the Lithuanian Art Museum in Vilnius and at Museum Folkwang in Germany.
