Dorset-based photographic artist Sian Bonnell was commissioned in 2006 to undertake a commission hosted by the Moravska Galerie in Brno, Czech Republic.
‘Kaput!’ focuses on objects which refuse to work, hampering our efforts to get on with daily life and creating high stress levels in the modern office environment. Bonnell was influenced in the creation of these works by the Moravska’s established collection of early modernist photography and by notions of the absurd.
‘Kaput!’ was published in Portfolio Catalogue (www.portfoliocatalogue.com/47) and has exhibited at Text + Work in Bournemouth.
